FRUIT SHARES
The Fruit Share is a great way to enjoy local, low and no spray scrumptious seasonal fruit! The Fruit Share starts when the local cherries are ready, generally beginning the first week of July. The local fruit included in the fruit share starts with cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines, blueberries, and moves into grapes, pears, raspberries and of course apples. It truly is a celebration of WNY's growing region!
The Fruit Share costs $225 ($15 per week; due at time of sign up)
The Fruit Share starts the first week of July with cherry season, and usually ends the last week of the Summer Share for a total of 15 weeks. The farmers take the week of Labor Day 'off', so there will be no fruit share that distributed that week. You must have a Summer CSA Share in order to sign up for a Fruit Share.
FRUIT SHARE
IMPORTANT
**Because we do not grow the fruit, and only source it from other farms in Western New York, substitutions may be made based on the season and availability of fruit
**Shares are made up of conventional, low spray, no spray, and organic fruit
**All of the fruit in the share is grown by other farms in Niagara, Erie, and Cattaraugus Counties. The farm origin of all fruit is labeled at time of pick up.
