A Couple Weeks Out

We have been busy nursing seedlings in the greenhouses and perennial plants outside these past 7 weeks! My how time flies when you're watching little things grow. It is both slow going and quick growing: the seedlings sometimes take forever to germinate, but then over the course of a day will sometimes grow by leaps and bounds! It's incredibly nerve-wracking as well as rewarding, too. We have had some plants that have needed to be checked on every 2 hours, before bed, and again as soon as we rise in the morning. Good thing those plants are past that phase and are starting to take care of themselves ;)
And now here we are two weeks out from the start of our Spring Share (which is not our Summer Share). About a third of our Summer Shareholders decide to sign up for the leafy goodness, nutrient dense vegetables the Spring has to offer. It is like the beginning of the Summer share a bit, but also has our asparagus in the share.
So everyone who signed up for a Spring Share will be getting an email at the beginning of the week with info about the share, and then a second reminder email closer to the start date, which is April 29th or May 1st depending on if you pick up Tuesdays or Thursdays. Look for the email from us!
As for Spring...it's been pretty chilly and cloudy! A few days in a row of sun would really be nice.
